The Historic and Haunted The Sedamsville Rectory 2014 - will

The Sedamsville Rectory was built over 130 years
ago and is listed on the National Historic
Register.

Only about 5 hrs from Chicago in Cincinnati (Sedamsville), Ohio. The Rectory - 639 Steiner St, Cincinnati,
Ohio
Everytime Edward Shanahan's has been there the
last two years for his Paranormal Over Night with other individuals
and what he has experienced with others, no
other location has compared and that includes Villisca and Ashmore.
Shanahan has named some
of the Spirits he came across and some that
are present, 'Spirits of Hell'. Very active to the point Shanahan was having visions of some of the things that
went on at the location.
The video showcased below is of an EVP that was
captured by a voice recorder in a bedroom
that was vacant of people and before this was
captured on the recorder, Shanahan said he was receiving a vision of a child being beaten with a
belt.
The Rectory has had its
share of deaths, with many being of the many
Priests that have lived there. What seemed to be blood was seen on the stairs by individuals with the used
of Shanahan's Night Vision Goggles.
The owners also know that a man was found dead
in front of the Rectory. The owners have also
found out that years ago a child was found
dead in front of it with a noose around the child's neck.
The owner has had a number of volunteers working
on painting and restoring the inside of the Rectory. Several have
left and promised not to return. Some have
seen dark shadows or mist, while others
report seeing movement under the doorway when only two people are working at the time. There
has also been reports of items on the
different floors sliding across the floors on their own. EVP's have been captured in the
rectory.
Father Donald MacLeod, author of ' The History
of Roman Catholicism in North America', was
struck by a train and killed in Sedamsville
near this location in the late 1800's. He was on his way to provide comfort and sermon to a seriously ill
woman when he was hit by an oncoming train on
the Indianapolis and Cincinnati Railroad and
killed instantly.
For years following his tragic death,
parishioners and people in the community
spoke of seeing his ghostly image, often walking down at the foot of Steiner Street where the Rectory
is located, down by the tracks where he was
struck by the train.
Visitors to the Rectory have reported hearing
footsteps, voices, doors opening and closing,
and often times a figure of a man dressed in
a dark clergy robe walking from one room to the next.
There is more history to
why it is haunted, but that will be discussed by the Historians.
What
one Psychic has Picked up at the location: From Marie Swanson (Psychic): This is what I get immediately... Franciscan Monk, name, Father John Abramson? He
used to be there. Building used to be an
orphanage or connected to a school at one time. Priest have died here. Spirits linger. Place of
banishment for some. Many shadow men, they
are not what they seem to be. Be careful in the basement. The stairs, I get light headed... feel
pushed down. That is what I have been getting so far.

The facility has over 6000 square feet of space
and has 4 levels. On the first level, it has
a parlor, a living room, library, formal dining room, a kitchen as well as a bathroom. The
kitchen has a servants staircase going up to
the second level where the servants quarters are located. The second level has four bedrooms,
three bathrooms and a beautiful staircase
going to the first floor. It also has a staircase leading up to the huge attic. It is
located near the servants quarters.

It will start at 5pm with a historic tour by the
historians and also it is possible that there
may be a tour of one other location tied into the rectory. Then the investigations will start.
Also Edward Shanahan will
be assisting individuals during the night with what he does.
Tools will be provided, a Ghost Box for use
during the night. Night Vision Goggles and more will be in use.
Also feel free to bring
your own tools, flashlight and cameras.
Sometime during the night Edward Shanahan will
hold his 'Circle of Energy Seance' in an
attempt to have the Spirits interact with those living, that are present in the room that
it will be held in.
It is suggested to bring a sandwich or cold
pizza etc; snacks and pop or water for your
self during the night. Will take a break and discuss what has been felt and captured before
the lights are shut off for the later part of
the night and in to the morning.

can in one of the bedrooms or in the huge attic, pleasant dreams!

paranormal night to explore and experience the building and Spirits. Built in 1938.
It is home to the friendly spirits of
the past as experienced by others.
In
Oct. 2012 Edward Shanahan and a group of individuals held a paranormal night at the
location that was enjoyed by everyone
with great results.
So on April 16th 2013, Shanahan returns
to again hold a fundraiser for the
Valentine Boys and Girls Club.
Saturday March 16th, 2013 will be a night
of power, when the veil that separates
our world from the other world will be
attempted to be made thinner.

special paranormal night will end when all those present are gathered in a large area of the
basement that besides being creepy, it
is also active.
This will be for Edward Shanahan's 'Circle
of Energy Seance' that attempts to have
the spirits interact with those present in the room and those present become the

session, as has happened in the past. This also provides
an opportunity to capture EVP's with the voice recorders.

On Sunday July 14th we
will step back in time as we enter the location that today is known as the Blue Star Auto
Stores. Historically this building is
the last building standing from the historic time and area in
Chicago known as the Levee District an
area that was once the most crime-ridden area in all of Chicago.
The building was an Al
Capone establishment during the prohibition era and it was known then as the Cullerton
Hotel. It had a saloon, dancing girls,
bordello and gambling hall.

The inside of this place
is incredible, it has 4 floors and a basement. We will have access to explore all the floors
except the auto part main floor area

there is activity heard on the different floors. We will be the first involved with the

This Paranormal Night will be Edward
Shanahan's 2nd time to explore and
experience this very active location. The first experience was
a joy along with his Circle of Energy that he is
returning and also a location for those interested
in having their own private paranormal nights with Edward
Shanahan.
Being a Spirit Feeler and a Medium. He
will assist those who attend this
paranormal night in experiencing the Spirits of the location, a location that is a registered
historic location.
Assisting Edward and those who attend this
paranormal over night will be the

The
Roads Hotel Past Paranormal History:
An individual who ran the Roads Hotel for
the owner in the past, had 33 overnight
investigations. Individuals seen full body apparitions. Lots of shadows.
Several people had been charged and things
running through them. Investigation
teams have heard disembodied voices, smelled various smells (cigars, lavender,
etc), and were entertained by the
hotel's youngest resident playing with a balloon. There is a woman called Sarah in
a bedroom that likes to communicate.
If she talks too much something makes her shut up.
A Police Officer was there one night
pretending that he was going to arrest
someone and got charged by a dark shadow, the Police Officer now believes. There
have been crawlers on the second floor
on several occasions. 100's of evp's have been captured there.
The Roads Hotel Historic
History:
The hotel is registered on Historic Places
of Indiana and has had a long history. It served as a hotel,
bordello, speakeasy and family home so
far.
Many
people, including John Dillinger and Al Capone have passed though the doors of this hotel but
not all of them have left. The last 3
families who actually have lived there, have had tragedy, money problems and divorces.
The Roads Hotel
was bought by Newton A. Roads on July 25, 1893 for his wife, Clara. Philip Rhoades,
Newton’s father, was one of the first
settlers in Hamilton County. Philip walked from Pennsylvania to Indiana to claim land
that he was granted from the
government for his participation in the Civil War.

This
private residence has remained in the family since the early 1900's. The furniture has
even given off EMF reading with no
reason for doing so, other then the
spirits remain with some of it.
On Saturday March 31st, it is the Birthday
of one of the Great Uncles that lived
at the residence years ago and we
return on his birthday.
This location has had great results using
the Ghost Box in the past and EMF
meters.
The 4
floor home has been in the family for 93 years.
Built in the 1870s. It also is built on a
limestone cliff. It was a home of
Bootleggers, it was created in the
basement and also private Speakeasy.
Family members throughout the early years
have been waked on the 2nd floor. At
least a dozen wakes have been held in
the home.
Several deaths in the home, one was a
family member, a 10 yr old boy who
choked to death on a fish bone. Another
was a family member called Uncle Buddy,
an Irish Iron Worker who was also a
party animal, W.C. Fields type.
He
died upstairs of heart failure. Plus the other members that have passed but still call it
home.
It also
is reported by other Psychic Feelers that outside spirits have
entered and stayed.
Edward Shanahan entered the private home Sunday and was experiencing Spirits right
from entering and pointed out to the
owner, what the Investigation Teams
already told him.

experience this haunted farm throughout the night along with the haunted cemetery.

assists individuals with his Spirit Feeling abilities, along with paranormal investigators

It is
the location that Edward Shanahan's paranormal knowledge and
experiences in the place has been
written about in two paranormal books 'Voices from The Chicago Graves' and
'Encyclopedia of Haunted Places'.
Also it is the location a British TV crew
filmed Ursula Bielski for her historical knowledge and Edward Shanahan
for his Paranormal Spirit Feelings at
the location. Edward has a long paranormal history with the
location and the surrounding areas, as
he has lived his whole life within five minutes of this paranormal active
area and has been to this location since back in 2003.
On
Saturday , 2011, we will return to the location and will wander the floors at this historic haunted
location, followed by a seance by
Edward Shanahan.
Edward Shanahan in
cooperation with the owner of The Stag's Head - now named 'The Irish Legend', is offering
a Paranormal Night experience for a
limited number of individuals at the building that is said to
once belong to Al Capone.

Following dinner, all will have a tour of
the building, including the brothel
area, the attic other areas known for
their hauntings and then individuals will be allowed to explore and experience the location.
Then later all
will gather in one of the areas of the building and Edward Shanahan with his
'Circle of Energy Seance', will
attempt to have the Spirits of the location or those Spirits that may join
in, interact with the individuals who
attend this special and unique paranormal night.
Individuals who
join in with the 'Circle of Energy Seance' will be chosen fairly as done at
past Seances by Shanahan. The Spirits
of your loved one's who passed away,
will decide who joins in at the table.
Also on this
night, bring an item of a love one who has passed away (a watch, reading glasses,
rings etc.. that they wore and picked
up their energy), as Edward will allow
the items to be placed in front of him during the seance and see what may come about
during the seance.

loved being able to go on our own, we got a lil lost (44,000 sq feet building), and it was dark. We had flashlights and
wound up where Tim thought one of the groups was.
He heard voices and a light go on and off.
We headed into the boiler room and he stopped dead in
his tracks. The hair on his arm was standing straight up and no one was in that room. I was
terrified. We found our way out and I told him I'd go back if someone would go with us. We found two guys
but the activity had subsided. We four went to the
weight room and we got a 100 lb punching bag start to move back and forth

One guy had downloaded an app on his phone called ghost radar. It did
different things. He had it on ghost box where

around for flowers and we all waved. Then he shined
his flashlight around the room and on the wall was a painting of flowers
and a huge wave. We were stunned!

real. She said my mom was trying to connect with her and she was telling

a message for Marlayna (My daughter).
So we both realized that my mother did come through
for her just not in the way I thought she would
when I had Ed do my reading. She connected to her directly in her dream.
She told me she could not understand what her
Grandmother was trying to tell her. Luckily I had that conversation with my mom asking her to let my daughter know that
she was aware of her new marriage and a new home
and all of the things she had accomplished. We were both blown away on how
things turned out the way they were suppose to.
Remember my Grandma showed up in my reading, because my mom was busy trying to connect with my
daughter. I knew you would appreciate the irony of

I would like to say Thank you for such an interesting evening at the
Willow Creek Farm. My daughter Sara & I
were totally intrigued and thoroughly enjoyed our experiences. The
memories of that evening will certainly stay with
us for quite some time. I will never forget seeing the black shadow of Dr Graham as he came down the
staircase, and stood at the threshold of the staircase door. I was sure at any moment all hell would
break loose. WOW ! Sara is still intrigued as to how she felt the numbness in her hands and the feeling of
her wrists being tied when up in "Robbies" room
with you conducting a mini seance. She learned that ghost
hunting is not about walking from room to room
asking for a sign, but rather sitting in the room and communicating with
the spirits in a respectful way, We will

certainly very impressive on many different

had an incredible evening. I mentioned to you
after the seance that I organize tours in my town of Rockford, Illinois. I have also traveled the country
visiting haunted sites from St. Augustine to the Whaley house in San Diego. I also need to mention that
I have had "feelings" at some of these sites, you
know where the hairs stand up on the back of your neck? But really haven't

say with all honestly .. I got a little more than that. I am not sure if
that night was just an ordinary night for you. Do you

have never experienced anything like this in my 10 years of traveling
to haunted places, working
